Cancellations and rescheduling
We want to remain flexible when unexpected circumstances arise. Customers may therefore cancel or reschedule online at any time.
Repeated cancellations or rescheduling at short notice, or failing to attend without notice, can nevertheless significantly affect our operations. It is often then too late to offer the appointment to another customer.
If this happens repeatedly, Nuddhofid reserves the right to require future appointments to be booked closer to the treatment date or to decline further bookings.
The decision will follow a fair assessment of the customer's overall booking history and individual circumstances, not a single incident. The customer will be informed of the decision.
Conduct
Massage treatments are in no way sexual in nature.
Sexual harassment by a massage guest or massage therapist, whether through actions or words, is not tolerated and will result in the massage treatment being stopped immediately.
A massage treatment stopped because of inappropriate conduct by the massage guest must be paid in full, and the guest will be banned from returning. Serious sexual harassment or assault may result in a report to the police.
Health and responsibility
Massage treatment can have many positive effects on health. It is relaxing, reduces stress, can relieve pain, increases mobility and supports blood flow.
Massage therapists are not doctors and are therefore not authorized to diagnose medical conditions. Massage treatment can never replace medical treatment, but it can be used alongside medical treatment.
It is important that the massage guest informs the massage therapist about illnesses or conditions so the therapist can take this into account during the treatment.
The massage guest receives massage treatment at their own risk.
The massage therapist is not responsible for any complications that may be related to the guest's health.
Hygiene
Massage treatment involves touch, and oils and creams are used during treatments.
Hygiene is important for both the massage therapist and the massage guest, so it is important that the guest arrives for the treatment with a clean body.
Hygiene works both ways, and the massage therapist must also maintain cleanliness and a neat appearance. Both the massage therapist and the massage guest may decide to cancel a massage treatment if personal hygiene is not acceptable.
If the massage guest needs to shower on arrival, that time is counted as part of the booked treatment time.
Alcohol and drugs
Massage treatment must take place without the influence of alcohol or other intoxicating substances.
Both the massage therapist and the massage guest must avoid alcohol for at least 12 hours before the massage treatment.
Personal belongings
We recommend bringing as few personal belongings as possible and keeping valuables in a safe place while on the premises.
No responsibility is taken for the massage guest's personal belongings during their stay.
Confidentiality
This is a professional treatment studio that follows strict ethical standards. Confidentiality toward massage guests is maintained, except in cases where actions or behavior violate the law.
Clothing
The massage guest must enter the massage room with private areas covered, for example fully clothed, in underwear, wrapped in a towel or wearing a robe.
The massage guest decides whether or not to wear underwear during the treatment.
The massage guest is always draped, and only the area being worked on is uncovered.
Treatment and focus areas
A single massage treatment usually follows a predefined massage routine, unless the massage guest requests specific focus areas during the treatment, such as back, head, feet and so on.
If the massage guest attends massage treatment regularly, they are encouraged to work on and share their goals with the massage therapist.
Pregnancy massage
Unfortunately, we cannot offer pregnancy massage. We recommend contacting a provider who specializes in pregnancy massage and has the appropriate facilities, equipment and expertise.
Children and accompanying persons
Massage guests aged 18 and younger must be accompanied by an adult, and a parent or guardian must give consent for the massage treatment.
Massage guests may request to have a third party present during the massage treatment, if desired. That person must follow the rules regarding conduct and communication.
