●   Nudd hefur margvísleg jákvæð áhrif á heilsu. Nudd er slakandi, minnkar streitu, verkjastillandi, eykur hreyfigetu og blóðflæði. Nuddarar eru ekki læknar og hafa því ekki heimild til að sjúkdómsgreina fólk. Nudd getur aldrei komið í staðinn fyrir læknismeðferð en getur verið notuð samhliða læknismeðferð. Það er mikilvægt að viðskiptavinurinn upplýsi nuddarann um sjúkdóma eða mein svo að nuddarinn geti tekið tillit til þess í meðferð sinni. Viðskiptavinur þiggur nudd á eigin ábyrgð og nuddarinn ber ekki ábyrgð á neinum fylgikvillum sem kunna að vera vegna heilsufars viðskiptavina.●   Nudd er snerting og notaðar eru olíur og krem í meðferðum. Hreinlæti er mikilvægt bæði fyrir nuddarann og viðskiptavininn og því er mikilvægt að viðskiptavinurinn komi í meðferðina með hreinan líkama. Hreinlæti virkar á báða bóga og skal nuddari vera hreinn og snyrtilegur. Bæði nuddari og viðskiptavinurinn getur tekið ákvörðun um að aflýsa nuddi sé persónulegt hreinlæti ekki ásættanlegt.●   Stakt nudd er í flestum tilfellum, eftir fyrirfram ákveðnu nuddkerfi nema að viðskiptavinurinn óski eftir ákveðnum áherslum í nuddinu (td. bak, höfuð, fætur o.s.frv.). Ef viðskiptavinurinn mætir reglulega í nudd er hann hvattur til að vinna með nuddaranum og deila með honum markmiðum með nuddinu.●   Áfengi/eiturlyf og nudd eiga ekki saman. Bæði nuddari og nuddþegi skulu halda sig frá áfengi a.m.k. 12 tímum fyrir nuddmeðferð.●   Nuddþegi skal sjálfur ákveða hvort hann eða hún sé íklæddur nærfötum. Viðskiptavini er ávallt pakkað inn og aðeins það svæði sem unnið er með er óhulið.●   Viðskiptavinir 18 ára og yngri skulu koma í fylgd með fullorðnum og verður foreldri eða forráðamaður að gefa samþykki sitt fyrir nuddinu. Viðskiptavinir mega óska eftir að hafa 3ja aðila hjá sér í nuddi, sé þess óskað. Skal sá aðili þá hlíta reglum um hegðun og samskipti.●   Þetta er fagleg meðferðarstofa sem fylgir ströngum siðareglum. Trúnaður við viðskiptavini er viðhafður, nema ef um er að ræða athafnir og hegðun sem brjóta í bága við lög.●   Nuddið er meðferðarúræði og er á engan hátt kynferðislegs eðlis. Kynferðisleg áreitni af hálfu viðskiptavinar eða nuddara, hvort sem er um að ræða athafnir eða orð, eru ekki liðin og mun leiða til þess að nuddið er tafarlaust slitið. Meðferð sem er slitið vegna óviðeigandi hegðunar viðskiptavinar skal greiðast að fullu og viðskiptavinurinn verður settur í endukomubann. Alvarleg kynferðisleg áreitni eða árás getur endað með kæru til lögreglu.●   Engin ábyrgð er tekin á lausamunum gesta, á meðan á dvöl stendur.

Það standa nú yfir endurbætur á búningsklefum í Suðurbæjarlaug, og því munum við aðeins hafa aðgang að einu nuddherbergi þar til framkvæmdum lýkur. Til að halda úti þjónustu höfum við bætt við okkur nuddherbergi í Hress Heilsurækt (Dalshrauni 11) og munum starfa bæði þar og í Suðurbæjarlaug.

Sudaphon verður á stofunni í Hress á virkum dögum og í Suðurbæjarlaug um helgar (þó ekki hverja helgi). Best er að finna bókunar dagatölin í gegnum vefsíðuna okkar - Nudd.is

●   Massage therapy can provide the benefits of enhanced relaxation, stress reduction, reduces pain, improved circulation and increased range of motion. Massage therapists are not licensed to practice medicine and therefore do not diagnose illness or disease. Massage therapy is not a substitute for medical treatment, however it can be done alongside it. It is important that the customer informs the massage therapist of any existing physical or medical conditions so that it can be taken in consideration during the therapy session. Customers accept massage at their own risk and the massage therapists will not be held responsible for any complications due to customeres health conditions.●   Massage therapy involves the use of touch, and may at times include the use of oils, lotions, or creams. Coming to your massage therapy session with a clean body is imperative for the health and safety of both the client and massage therapist. Personal hygiene is mutually respected. Should either part fail to uphold their hygiene responsibilities, services for that session will be postponed.●   In most cases, a single massage is based on a pre-determined massage system, unless the customer requests a certain emphasis in the massage (fx. back, head, legs, etc.). If the client attends a massage regularly, he is encouraged to work with the massage therapist to determine the most effective treatment plan to help achieve client’s goals.●   Alcohol/drugs and massage DO NOT MIX. Both therapist and client must refrain from alcohol and/or drugs at least 12 hours before the massage treatment.●   Clients may undress to their comfort level, removing underwear is optional. All clients will be covered and draped with clean linens at all times. Only the area being worked on will be undraped●   Customers aged 18 and under must be accompanied by an adult, and a parent or guardian must give their consent for the massage. Customers may request to have third party with them during the massage. That party must abide by our Terms of Service.●   This is a professional practice following a strict code of ethics. Confidentiality of our clients and sessions will be honoured with one noted exception: Any revealed illegal activity or questionable activity, as required by law.●   The massage is therapeutic and all massage services provided are NON-Sexual. Sexual conversation or behaviour will not be tolerated. Any inappropriate words, jokes, or suggestions by the client or the therapist will result in the immediate termination of the session. Massage sessions terminated for inappropriate behaviour will be fully charged and the practice will be closed to the client in the future. Serious sexual harassment or assault may be reported to the police.●   No responsibility is taken for guests personal belongings during their stay.
